“Special” a source in Zamalek reveals the real reason behind Bin Sharqi’s adherence to his condition for renewal

A source from inside Zamalek, close to the player Ashraf bin Sharqi, spoke about the secret of the player's adherence to the presence of a penalty clause in his new contract with Zamalek.

As this condition is what hinders the renewal of the player’s contract with Zamalek so far, despite the end of the current contract at the end of the current season.

A source close to the player confirmed that his agent promised him to provide suitable professional offers in the coming periods, whether in Europe or in the Gulf.

He added that Wakil Ben Sharqi's promise is the reason for the player's adherence to a penalty clause that makes him able to leave at any time, especially after the first season in the case of renewal.

The dispute in the penalty clause between Zamalek and the player is the club’s desire to activate the penalty clause after the second season of Bin Sharqi’s new contract, but the player wants to activate the penalty clause after the first season.

The Zamalek administration is waiting for the player to return again from the national team camp in order to resolve these matters and close the player’s contract renewal file.

Essam Abdel-Fattah “embarrasses” Al-Ahly with new statements due to the position on the referee of the summit match:

Essam Abdel-Fattah, head of the referees committee, continued to respond to Al-Ahly’s latest statement regarding the statements of referee Mohamed Adel, the referee of the last summit match in the league.

Essam Abdel-Fattah, through televised statements, demanded that those who do not understand arbitration should ask, so there is nothing wrong with that.

He added that the referee, Muhammad Adel, counted a penalty kick for Al-Ahly, despite the latter’s progress by four against a goal, stressing that the referee did not make a mistake and dealt with the utmost impartiality.

Abdel-Fattah added that Al-Ahly’s statement was misplaced, calling on everyone to feel the value of arbitration in Egypt.

Al-Ahly issued a statement yesterday requesting an explanation of the statements of referee Mohamed Adel, the referee of the top match.

These statements sparked a lot of controversy, as he talked about his quest to calm things down somewhat in the match after Al-Ahly’s three-way victory in the first half.

The match ended with Al-Ahly winning by five goals to three in the third round of the league competition.
