Essam Abdel-Fattah rises up in defense of the summit referee's statements against Al-Ahly's "fishing".

Essam Abdel-Fattah, head of the referees committee in the Egyptian Football Association, was keen to respond to the Al-Ahly club’s statement regarding taking measures that preserve Al-Ahmar’s right to the statements of Mohamed Adel, the referee of the summit.

Essam Abdel-Fattah said with the journalist Ahmed Schubert, via Ontime Sport channel:

I don't mind when someone comes out to speak with good intentions and spontaneously changes in a second way.. We allowed the referee to speak with you, Captain Schubert, so that he can take his right as the rest of his colleagues who refereed the top match last season and you hosted them too.

Muhammad Adel says the match took place at a certain time, tension occurred in the case, and the referees were told that they needed to manage the match well. Is the referee in the expulsion of Mahsbush? What do you think? Why this whole campaign?

He continued: Referee Mohamed Adel played a big match at the summit against anyone, and there is no creature in Egypt that can interfere in the work of the Referees Committee and the challenge. Any official lies my words.

And I say to the neutrals, they listen to the ruling’s statements in full. After that, they judge. We do not hear a part or a kinsman. This is a job for people who intend and understand what they do and what their presentation is.

Muhammad Adel said with you, Captain Schubert, a text. If there is a mistake, an expulsion, or an unaccounted penalty kick, the mouse will review me in it, and the speech will remain recorded.

“Urgent” is an expected response from Zamalek to Al-Ahly’s moves regarding the summit referee’s statements:

An official source in the Zamalek club revealed that the committee charged with managing the Zamalek club headed by Captain Hussein Labib will hold a session tomorrow evening, Tuesday, to discuss the response to the Al-Ahly club’s statement.

And the official page of Al-Ahly Club published that the board of directors headed by Mahmoud Al-Khatib is studying taking measures that preserve Al-Ahmar’s rights, after the statements of Mohamed Adel, the referee of the summit.

In an exclusive statement, the source said:

The Zamalek Committee will hold a session tomorrow to discuss the response to Al-Ahly’s statement and whether the matter should be answered or ignored, waiting for Al-Ahmar to make a final decision.

It is expected that the coming hours will witness new developments regarding this red, whether Al-Ahly files an official complaint with the Football Association because of Mohamed Adel’s statements, or not to take any action.
